Terri Gerlach, PHD, CCC-SLP: When I was invited to listen to Cheryl speak about healthy eating at The Pink House during a meeting for breast cancer survivors, I thought I might pick up a nugget of knowledge to enhance my already healthy diet. Well, I was in for a big surprise! I really was not eating all that well. She not only demonstrated how to make smoothies with healthy ingredients, but she provided very detailed handouts on what healthy really means along with several great recipes. She helped me to understand that what I put in my body can help it fight against many illnesses including cancer! Thank you Cheryl for all you have done and continue to do for cancer survivors!
Charlotte Barbagallo: Wind River Retreat Alumni 2016 ..."Cheryl opened the lid to the creativity of cooking".
".... I sometimes feel sorry for myself thinking, I can't eat pizza and eat normal food but now that I am learning new healthy tips , I have new things to be excited about. Once the lid of creativity is opened, it is just the beginning...It keeps growing. I'm more creative in the kitchen than I have been in 20 years!"
Laura Renegar: Triple Negative Breast Cancer Survivor and former junk food junkie.
"Cheryl Lecroy represents good health and balance. It took her many conversations and lots of patience but she helped break my junk food addiction, she taught me green food isn't bad, she is the healthy juicing queen, and has now encouraged me to eat clean 90% of the time. I love her smile and her loving heart. I am thankful for her friendship and her presence in the breast cancer community and in my life!"....Laura Renegar
